#BiologyMatters Not only does the horse have a larger comparatively sized amygdala than most mammals, that predominates it to have a stronger connection with fear associated memories - it also has a structure that facilitates a distinctly faster translation of this fear into a physically moving expression of behavior. This is a primary factor when considering all training & performance approaches.
